Blind Spot Problems

Every year people die from accidents all over the world caused by lack of driver visibility! With the simple addition of blind spot mirrors or even cameras to the vehicle, many lives could be saved and accident numbers reduced. Every year there are 726 deaths caused by collisions due to improper lane changes or merges caused by a lack of visibility on the drivers side.

These types of accidents are also often related to a change of direction at crossings, junctions, roundabouts in the blind spots which exist around heavy goods vehicles. You are three times more likely to have an accident caused by lack of driver visibility and blind spot problems when changing lanes than if you continue to drive in the same lane.

By adding a blind spot solution to your vehicle and alleviating the blind spot problem, especially if you drive a large motor home or truck it can save lives. In Europe every truck or heavy goods vehicle will have to have a solution to its blind spot problems in place by 31st March 2009, this could be either blind spot mirrors or even cameras. The European union transport policy ( Directive 2007/38/EC ) have a target of halving the number of fatalities in Europe by 2010.
